AI assistant that suggests tracks based on requests

Music Rover, a music player app, now has an AI assistant feature.

Enter a textual description of the tracks you would like to have suggested, and the AI assistant will select and create a list of tracks based on your request.
Although AI can make mistakes and may suggest tracks that differ from your request, the original and unexpected track selections will lead to the discovery of new music styles and artists.

You can also drag a track or an album to the Assistant’s icon, and a request (prompt) will automatically be created below them. This eliminates the need to manually type in the name of the artist or track.

The AI assistant is implemented using ChatGPT.
ChatGPT does not have up-to-date data and may not be able to answer about newer tracks.

Requests to the Assistant may be used up to 10 times per month for the free plan. The count will be reset on the 1st of each month.

Subscription to the Assistance Plan gives you unlimited requests.

Please give it a try!

New UI for Music Rover mini-player

Starting with Music Rover v1.4.0, there is a new UI for the mini-player at the bottom of the screen.

The queue button and player are integrated into a glass-morphism design that looks like a combination of two types of frosted glass.

In addition, iOS 17 applies a scrolling effect to the Home screen, etc., which hides the text portion of the content behind the mini-player. Please update to iOS 17 for a cleaner look around the player.

This app is implemented in SwiftUI, but I used UIKit views for the queue button background glass effect because I wanted to fine-tune the effect.

Additionally, this version includes fixes to support iOS 17.

Remove ads subscriptions now available on Music Rover

Starting with Music Rover v1.3.0, I have launched a paid subscription that allows you to remove ads. With this subscription, all ads in the app will be hidden, making the app even clearer and easier to view.

There are two types of ad removal plans: monthly and annual plans, and the annual plan is considerably more economical than the monthly plan.

If you want to use Music Rover ad-free, please subscribe.

In v1.3.0, the layout of the home screen has also been fine-tuned. The display layout of advertisements has also been adjusted to better fit in with the content.
